Aerospace Career Pathways (ACP) exemplifies what high-quality, future-ready CTE should look like.
Through their coordination and facilitation of FAA Part 107 drone certification programming, ACP brings together rigorous curriculum, industry-aligned credentials, and meaningful career exploration in a way that truly expands opportunity for students. The intentional design, from a year-long, standards-aligned course of study to instructor training and continuous program evaluation, ensures both quality and sustainability.
What sets ACP apart is their commitment to access and relevance. By embedding hands-on drone/aviation learning within our high schools and providing clear pathways to postsecondary credentials and careers, ACP helps students see themselves in high-demand fields they may not have otherwise considered. Their work strengthens not only individual programs, but the entire CTE ecosystem by connecting instruction, certification, and industry engagement into a cohesive pathway.
ACP is a trusted partner for districts seeking to elevate CTE, respond to workforce needs, and prepare students with skills that matter - today and into the future.
Aerospace Career Pathways has been a transformative partner in advancing aerospace and STEM education across Washtenaw County.
We have deeply appreciated the partnership between ACP, Washtenaw ISD and our local K-12 schools to develop a powerful learning experience for young people around drone aviation in Washtenaw County.
ACP’s comprehensive approach to program coordination has been invaluable. From understanding the FAA Part 107 opportunities to designing a student certification model to building the instructor training sequence to the development of the Aerospace Career Education Academies, the team has been efficient, consistent, and focused on quality.
Ramone Crowe and the team at ACP have provided tremendous vision, guidance, and support as we’ve learned about the importance of aviation for our community. This future-focused effort required ACP’s engagement and leadership to help us collectively envision what was possible and ensure engagement by schools, county government, and economic development partners.
Especially important is ACP’s focus on equity and access. We started where the need was greatest and unapologetically worked with our communities of color and communities in poverty to ensure access to the new drone and aviation programs. By serving multiple high schools, supporting diverse cohorts of students, and building scalable pathways that extend into postsecondary credentials and careers, ACP helps ensure that drone, aviation, and aerospace opportunities are not limited by zip code or background.
